I'm always glad to see Patrick Kurp and Anecdotal Evidence mentioned as a resource for literary recommendations. He is forever pointing me in the right direction and apparently he hasn't failed you either. I have little use for critics who can't be made happy by what they read. Patrick has a very discerning palette, but he doesn't bother to post on works he can't recommend. Instead, I count on him to tell me when something IS worth tracking down and reading. He's been in my blogroll for a long time.
